Relaxed summer wedding at the beautiful Walled Garden in Beeston.

Faye & Oli got married on a beautiful summers day at The Walled Garden in Beeston, Nottingham. I had met Faye through a mutual friend and had been told how chilled out she was - they weren’t wrong! Faye was completely relaxed the morning of the wedding and remained this way throughout. The day was full of smiles and Faye looked stunning wearing a Kimodo dress designed by Rue De Seine.

The ceremony took place outside in the garden under the loggia which created a beautiful back drop. Faye walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of Beyoncé ‘Runni’ and they walked back to Sexual Healing by Hot 8 Brass Band - which I absolutely loved!

They were so lucky with the weather on the day which meant the sides of the marquee were raised creating a large open plan space. Faye & Oli said it felt like we were at home in the garden surrounded by family and friends. It was that chilled some of the guests even had siestas on the grass!

For dinner they had a relaxed informal meal where guests helped themselves. The wedding Cake was made by Elle Jane along with  a selection of patisserie items for guests to help themselves to after meal, they went down a treat!

The first dance was to John Ledgend, All of Me, and they continued the evening with music and songs that the guests had chosen during the RSVP process. It was great seeing people’s faces when their song came on and the array of dance moves that followed.

Faye and Oli also arranged a pizza van in the evening which went down a treat and pizza even made it’s way onto the dancefloor!

The funniest part of the day was watching everyone trying to climb onto Benedict the plastic zebra!  It made for a great photo opportunity and was hilarious watching people trying to mount him throughout the day.
